Deja Mason is the Project Manager for the CALL for Equity-Centered Leadership (CALL-ECL) team. She is a dedicated advocate for equitable work environments and cultural enrichment, leveraging her expertise in Human Resources and Arts Administration. With a mission to foster inclusivity across industries, she fearlessly challenges norms, sparks change, and empowers teams using innovative, artistic approaches. Deja holds a Master of Arts – Business in Arts and Creative Enterprise Leadership, complemented by a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Human Resources, both from the Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

As the Project Manager for CALL for Equity-Centered Leadership (CALL-ECL), Deja spearheads all logistical operations and contractual management. Her role involves direct engagement with participating school districts nationwide, supervising and directing the day-to-day activities for the team, guiding the UW-Madison undergraduate research assistants in their work, and collaborating closely with the Lead Principal Investigator and Research Director.

Beyond her professional commitments, Deja actively contributes to her community as the Membership Co-Chair for the Urban League of Greater Madison Young Professionals, Board Member with the Friends of the Madison Arts Commission (FoMAC), Board Member with the Arts + Literature Laboratory (ALL), member of P.E.O International, and volunteers with Babies and Beyond of Wisconsin.
