Eric Hsienchen Chu is a sophomore pursuing Economics, Statistics, and Mathematics at UW–Madison. He serves as Editor-in-Chief at Equilibrium: The Undergraduate Journal of Economics and a student representative of the Economics Inclusion Board promoting inclusion and engagement within the department. Eric’s primary research interests are Microeconomic Theory focusing on search/monitoring mechanism and Labor Economics with education. He studies how the hierarchical characteristics of university and PhD programs shape individual job placement outcomes in the dual search process and peer/organization network. Eric currently works as Undergraduate Research Assistant helping on our CALL-ECL project.
