Mina Kao will be graduating from Brown University in May 2023 with bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Psychology. On the CALL-ECL team, Mina works with a team at Brown under Professor John Diamond to conduct qualitative analysis of DPTs theories of action. During her undergrad, Mina has also served on a research team that investigated the diverse cultural learning beliefs of youth in Japan and the United States. At Brown, Mina is a Co-Coordinator of Brown Asian Sisters Empowered, a community and political organization, and a Co-Director of the social action group Period Equity at Brown. She is from Seattle, Washington, and enjoys spending time outdoors and playing volleyball.
