Lisa Hennessey (M.S., she/her/hers) is a mathematics teacher educator at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, pursuing her purpose to ensure that everyone is seen and valued as mathematical by their peers, teachers, community, family, and self. She is a doctoral student at the University of Wisconsin – Madison in the department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis. She is a researcher on the CALL for Equity Centered Leadership (CALL ECL) project and she facilitates professional learning and coaching through the Mathematics Institute of Wisconsin.

She has previously served as a 4K-12 Mathematics Coordinator, Summer School Principal, high school mathematics teacher, and President of the Wisconsin Mathematics Council.  She holds an M.S in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis (with principal and director of curriculum licensures) from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and a B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education (with secondary math teacher licensure) and certificates in mathematics and leadership from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
