Aziz Awaludin is a Graduate Assistant and Liaison of Study A in the CALL-ECL Project at Wisconsin Center for Education Research (WCER). He is a PhD student in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at University of Wisconsin-Madison with the Fulbright Fellowship of the U.S. Department of States. He obtained an undergraduate degree (B.Ed.) in English Education from State Islamic University Jakarta, Indonesia, in 2015. After that, in 2016, Aziz pursued his M.Ed. in General Education Studies from Monash University, Australia, with the support of the Indonesian government scholarship (LPDP). Right after coming back from Australia, he was selected as an intern in the Satu Data (Open Data) Initiative, one of the most competitive programs, at the Presidential Palace of the Republic of Indonesia. Prior to working in the CALL-ECL Project, Aziz was a policy researcher at Pusat Pengkajian Islam dan Masyarakat (Center for the Study of Islam and Society) at State Islamic University Jakarta on Islamic education issues. His foundation as a researcher working with Indonesian government officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, and the Ministry of National Planning and Development has driven his research interests in the areas of leadership, policy and evaluation.
